Daniel was born in Prescott and grew up in Bodcaw, Arkansas. After graduating from Bodcaw High School in 1981, he went on to earn a degree in Biblical Studies from Central Baptist College and a Master of Divinity in Pastoral Ministry from Trinity University.

He has served churches in Arkansas, Oklahoma, and Texas, and in June 2005, God led him to become the pastor here at First Baptist Church Damascus.

Daniel and his wife, Gwenda, have four children who are all married with families of their own, and they love spending time with their eight grandchildren.

Daniel has a heart for preaching God’s Word and encouraging families to grow in their walk with Christ.

Colter was born and raised in Damascus, Arkansas. He was saved at a young age and became a member of FBC Damascus.

After graduating from South Side Bee Branch High School in 2011, he began serving in the youth program. At 23, God called him into ministry, and in December 2016 he stepped into the role of Youth Pastor.

He graduated from Central Baptist College in Conway with a major in Bible and a minor in Pastoral Studies.

Colter and his wife, Olivia, were married in the summer of 2022 and now live in Damascus.

Colter has a passion for sharing God’s Word and investing in the lives of students.
