YOUTH MINISTRY

  •      Welcome to First Baptist Church Youth Ministry, and thank you for checking out our page! Our goal in the youth group is to provide a safe place for the youth of this day and age to learn the values of Christ that will shape their futures. We strive to furnish kids with the answers to life’s tough situations, and leave them with a hope in Christ to sustain them for eternity. We help build young men and women in Christ to be the future of the church, and impact God’s kingdom according to His will, all the while having fun doing what kids do best. We allow youth to be youthful, but we help mold them into the youth that God desires them to be.

 

Our youth ministry is called THE LIGHTHOUSE which is based from the verse 2 Corinthians 4:6.

" For God, who commanded the light to shine out of darkness, hath shined in our hearts, to give the light of the knowledge of the glory of God in the face of Jesus Christ."

YOUTH MINISTRY SCHEDULE

 

SUNDAY MORNINGS:

  •  

SUNDAY MORNING WORSHIP @ 9:00AM

 

SUNDAY SCHOOL @ 10:00AM

(7th-12th grade Girls/Boys classes)

 

SUNDAY NIGHTS:

 

SUNDAY NIGHT YOUTH WORSHIP @ 6:00PM

* Students also have the option to attend a regular Sunday night worship with adults.

 

WEDNESDAY NIGHTS:

 

YOUTH CLASS - 6:30 - 7:30PM

(7th-12th grades)

 

**We often plan events in the youth group like bonfires, movie night, bowling,  Youth VBS, volunteer days, etc.. The Lighthouse youth also attend retreats, camps, & SOAR Youth Conference. We put on various events like Pigfest and a youth rally too! So be sure to  check out our events calendar at the bottom of the page to stay informed about what all we have going on!
